Greetings from Andrew Fingerman

Hello to my wonderful fellow Tewksbury residents! I am a Tewksbury Township resident with two terrific kids, Lev and Simone, both of whom attend our fantastic school system. My wife Rachel and I count ourselves as lucky to live in this amazing place and believe in doing what we can to keep this community strong for all residents and students.

My aim in running for Board of Education to preserve and enhance our school system, with a focus on efficient and excellent operations, including fiscal responsibility and strategic investments that will reap the highest reward for our beloved students and community.

I am an advertising executive by day, and I’d love the opportunity to serve our community and our schools in a more meaningful way. If you see me out running on Rockaway Rd, Water St, or Sawmill Rd, please stop me as I’d love to meet you and discuss my platform. Be well!

Why I am running for Tewksbury Township Board of Education

For Our Kids

Our children are our most important asset, and I believe each generation of parents has the responsibility and opportunity to do all we can to support the younger generation. The foundations for this are family and education, and I am running to ensure all of our kids have what they need to succeed. I have my own views but also ensure I am talking with families at every opportunity to hear their experiences, concerns, and hopes for their children.

For Our Educators

Our children cannot have the best possible education without supporting those that make it happen: our beloved educators, teachers, and administrators. We need to get politics out of our schools and let the experts lead unabated. I have regular conversations with as many of our Tewksbury educators as I can so I know what is most pressing and urgent for them and their needs for our schools and classrooms. My promise as a board member is to support them first.

For Tewksbury

In Tewksbury we are very fortunate to have the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence achievement for our schools. I believe our educators are the reason to thank for the achievement, and that it needs to be protected on an ongoing basis by the community. It is the responsibility of the Tewksbury community, through the school board, to keep our budget focused purely on education and not wasted on frivolous aims.
